Local Urgent Care to make changes to serve the public in the middle of a pandemic.
AFC Urgent Care is taking action to protect our communities against the spread of COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus. We will continue to bring our communities we serve the highest level of healthcare!
1.) Mandatory Triage Tents
To protect our healthcare staff as well as our communities we serve, we have set up tents at each one of our clinics to screen patients prior to entering our clinics.
Each patient MUST pass through the tent and go through a series of precautionary questions and temperature reading.
Patient will then be instructed where to proceed.
2.) Tele-medicine (Video Chat with AFC Doctor or Nurse)
We recognize the necessity of social distancing, and staying home helps flatten the curve of COVID-19 spreading. We are rolling out tele-medicine accessible 7 days a week during our business hours. M-F 8 am to 8 pm and Sat/Sun 8 am to 5 pm.
*Note : some illness cannot be treated through telemedicine.

3.) Online Registration and Paperwork
AFC Urgent Care TN & NC has implemented Solv Health which allows patients to complete registration completely on their phones, including insurance information. Our providers are able to chat with you via text message on next steps and/or answer any questions you may have prior to being seen.

4.) COVID-19 Testing
Supplies are extremely limited for the COVID-19 test. AFC Urgent Care is adhering to the latest CDC guidelines to test for Flu and Strep prior to COVID-19.
We are working diligently to secure more tests so that we can better serve our communities.
